The how is arguably most important
How will you learn?
surely you don't need this course, do you?
Why should you bother?
Tons of content
The tools and methods presented in this course work. They are based on real-world client engagements and refined from over 15 years of AnyLogic expertise with clients in all industries, solving problems of any kind.
Flexible for you
All content aims to provide you with a solid foundation to launch your rocket from. Once you bridged the initial moat of setting up a tools and understanding workflows, you can easily grow and expand from it: your skills, your policies, your needs.
Not just GenAI
Mastering your coding agent of choice is important, sure. However, we also explore how to make it work beyond AnyLogic: native integration into GitHub and VS-Code allow you to let it build, run and test for you.
Up-to-date
The world of GenAI changes all the time. While the majority of this course teaches solid principles that won't change, I will keep the content up to date with the latest developments. For your sake as much as mine
Course content you will get
What is included?
1. Introduction
Understand the why: Why is GenAI really changing AnyLogic modeling? Why is it a good time now to learn agentic development?
2. Initial setup
Applying Claude, learn how to use desktop agentic tools: How do they work, what to avoid and how to handle permissions.
3. Your first GenAI use
See what you get "out of the box" with a coding agent (which is a lot) and how they fail really fast for real AnyLogic modeling work.
4. Fundamentals
Understand context windows, skills, project folders, permissions, hierarchical interpretation and how different LLM models reduce your token count.
5. Your first repo
Without versioning, your LLM agent will not only break your model but your spirit. Learn to use your GenAI tool for Git versioning and GitHub integration.
6. Your first skill
Learn how to actually create and refine simple skills tuned for AnyLogic modeling.
Including tips on writing efficient skills for your needs.
Including tips on writing efficient skills for your needs.
7. Advanced skills for AnyLogic
These skills support deep GenAI modeling, including a model parsing skill. This is the foundation for writing model tests, documentation and even make custom model changes.
8. Claude in GitHub
Learn how use your GenAI agent from within GitHub: assign tasks for it, make it do PRs and collaborate like with a co-worker.
9. Managing your setup over time
Learn when to even create new skills. Avoid your skills going "stale" over time, learn how to manage, store, re-use and version your toolbox.
10. The modern simulation workflow
How should you build simulation models with your new toolset? Planning, specs-driven development, implementing and testing all change in this brave new world.
11. Bonus: VS-Code
Where pure GenAI changes to AnyLogic models falls short, you can exploit VS-Code to supercharge coding for AnyLogic. Learn how to set it up and use it with or without GenAI support.
Frequently asked questions
Is this for absolute AnyLogic beginners?
Not really. If you are hoping that a GenAI tool will build your AnyLogic model for you without your understanding of simulation or AnyLogic, you will be in for a rough ride.
I suggest you should have some basic understanding of AnyLogic modeling before speeding up your workflow with this course.
If in doubt, feel free to get in touch to see if this course is right for you.

What AnyLogic skill level is required?
You have worked with AnyLogic for more than a few days. You built some models already and would be able to understand what a GenAI tool suggests or changes. Most importantly: You know that GenAI could help you but you struggle to follow all the hype and decide on a solid setup.

What GenAI / agentic/ coding skill level is required?
If you can ask ChatGPT a question, you can take this course. We will use coding-agent tools but focus on their (easy-to-use) desktop versions, skipping more complex CLI setups. If you feel comfortable with those, however, you can choose to use those as well.
Will I have access to the materials forever?
Yes. You will never loose access to your course materials.
Is this only for Claude users?
No. I had to decide on a GenAI provider and chose Claude due to its great value-to-price ratio. However, agentic desktop tools do not really differ much and will likely continue to be largely similar in the future. The concepts, workflows and principles are applicable to OpenAI Codex, Google Gemini or Microsoft Copilot.
What if I get different results?
Oh, you will. LLMs are inherently stochastic. It is impossible to get the exact same results than what I share in the videos. However, given that models constantly improve, chances are that your outputs are actually better, not worse.
Have you tested this for other coding agents?
No. However, the principles and workflows shown will work with other coding agents like Google Gemini, Microsoft CoPilot or OpenAI Codex because they all are capable of applying agent skills. Naturally, your results *will* vary (these are all inherently stochastic LLMs, after all). But this course is about setting up your launchpad so you can work on refining your skills to make them work for you.
Can I use your skills?
Yes. I provide a set of useful skills (fully usable by any agentic GenAI tool) that enable working with AnyLogic models. You can re-use or improve them as you see fit. Obviously, all risk is on you
Do you have any discounts?
No. This course is already priced as low as possible. But you can decide to play in installments, check the options upon enrolling.
Do you have any free training resources?
More than you can imagine, yes. Check my YouTube channel for tons of free videos. Also check my public appearances for in-depth AnyLogic workshops. And last, my blog holds tons of useful knowledge to learn and advance your simulation skills.
