The AnyLogic Café
How it works
We loosely follow an agenda as below. However, the café is informal and we may deviate whenever we like
Welcome and start
We welcome everyone. Feel free to introduce yourself if you are new or want to say hi.
We introduce the "speakers" that are allowed to talk during the coffee chat.

Coffee chat
A pre-selected sub-group of 2-4 persons discuss the theme/topic of the month. We ask everyone else to mute themselves.
(The "speakers" will know who they are )

Open discussion
We now invite everyone to join in with questions or thoughts. Please "raise your hand" in Zoom if it is busy. Else, you can also just chime in.
Q&A
This is the time to ask any other questions beyond this week's theme. Please be mindful of everyone's time: Aim for a question that can be answered with 1 word (excellent) or 1 sentence (good). Avoid open-ended "how do I learn AnyLogic"-type questions
Community values & ground rules
We want to keep this meetup a friendly and constructive place to meet like-minded AnyLogic friends
The Café vibe
This is an informal, friendly environment. We are here to chat, not to give presentations or advertise. If your cat walks across your keyboard or your model crashes mid-demo, you’re in good company.
AnySkill
Whether you’ve been using AnyLogic since the 2000s or you just downloaded the PLE version yesterday, your voice matters.
Please respect if a discussion is outside of your skill level.

"What happens in the Café..."
Please do not share widely what you hear in the Café. We want to talk about those failed projects, ugly code constructs and painful clients. Without fearing to hear about it publicly the next day.
Time and cameras
We start on time and aim to finish after 30 minutes. Feel free to join/leave anytime.
Cameras are encouraged but not mandatory.

Future dates
NOTE: I try to "rotate" the actual time so Asian, European and American users get a chance to join.
More future dates will be added in due course. If you have any idea for topics or themes, do reach out:
